Sweet dogs that need new homes!
All of these dogs need rehoming for various reasons, some are in Vermont, and some are out of state. Typically, we can find a transport.

Sometimes these dogs need a new home right away so we can accept Foster Homes for them as well.

In most rehoming cases our policy waves the standard adoption fee. While not required, we ask that a donation can be made to support the care of the dog.

Please reach out to us if you can help one of these dogs in need!! We hate to see them end up in a shelter and possibly euthanized due to overcrowding.

At no fault of her own Tia is in urgent need of a new home, or foster home. She was attacked twice by other dogs in her original home, so she was moved to another family member's home but now they are selling and downsizing, so she has to be shuffled again. She is scared of other dogs her size or bigger but does ok with smaller dogs. We are unsure about cats. She loves humans and just wants to feel safe and loved. She loves to play, be active or just snuggle with her human on the couch.

We hope to find someone/small family with experience or willing to work with Tia to help show her that not all other dogs are mean, and that she can have fun with other dogs again and be safe in her own home and not on guard. She just wants to be with her human, going for walks or hiking, she loves to be active and play but she also loves to just snuggle on the couch.

Tia is so smart and affectionate and truly deserves the chance to be a happy dog. Please help us help Tia!

Rosco is patiently waiting for a gentle, safe, loving home. He was found tied to a tree in the middle of the woods in rural Vermont! His finders took him in and were able to provide vet care, including being neutered, and have been taking care of him until they can find him a permanent home.
They wish they could keep him, but they have 3 dogs of their own and other life things that make it too hard to take on another. He gets along well with their other dogs and really deserves a chance at a life where he is cherished and loved. It's heart wrenching to think of what could have happened if he wasn't found, and why did these evil people abandon him in such a horrific way!
You can see more on his Petfinder profile.
